    Default Bok display, sling bookcase?

Since moving last year we havent a bookshelf and the books have been in a box on the playroom floor, thought this would make for easy access for all and encourage use BUT they just all get turfed out on the floor & trodden on!

So I want to reduce the amount of books out at anyone time and display them a little better. I was thinking of a sling bookcase, does anyone have one? Are they any good? If not what do you have?

    I quite like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gruffalo-Sli...0751890&sr=8-1

Also this for price & is deeper so maybe more sturdy Kids Book Display Unit | eBay

i have this one, and then the board books are in a basket to the side as they are not as tall as the sling shelves!

it seems to hold lots of books and the children enjoy getting them out. it seems pretty sturdy and the slings are made of strong cotton/calico type fabric i looked ata few before buying that didn't have very strong slings.

i keep most of the books in a bookcase in the sittingr oom, and put those that relevant to whatever we are doing in the bookcase, plus our favourites, and rotate the favourites around.

I recently got a book sling. I set it up, and put some cushions by it, and now all the children always get books out. Its been really interesting, all ages from the toddlers to the school age children have shown an interest. I just need to find some more books that are interesting enough for the older children, as well as being tough enough to take the toddlers rougher treatment of them.
