    Default Childminding Assistant

Hi just wondering if anyone could help me. I have just registered an assistant who is also my friend and Im not sure how to work out pay. Does she have the full payment that the parents pay per hour or do I give her part of it?
    Thanks in advance x

I would have thought if she is your assistant, you can pay her what you feel is right. You are the childminder, using your home, resources, a first aider etc so should get the lions share.

If she was co-minder, it would be different, but I think, if you are employing her, then it is your choice how much you pay

We pay our assistant an hourly rate and cover her PAYE and NI

    Hx
