    Default Best Cold remedy please

    I've been doing so well
Kids have had every bug going since the summer, D&V, coughs, snuffles, colds, viral infections, you name it, they've had it and I'd escaped all of it.......

    Until today......

Woke up, eyes streaming and tight, nose all bunged up, feeling like boiled poo tbh

Glad I'm on a quiet day today, dosed up on Lemsip Max, but it's not touching it, still streaming like a good 'un

so what's your best cold remedies ladies, really need to feel better quickly

Well someone recently suggested to me to rub vicks on the soles of my feet. I tried it and it worked for me but I have to admit it wasn't really that bad a cold but I don't think it hurts to try these things

    - Vix on chest area and back (lung area) during night.
    - Good warm slippers on with 2 pairs of socks, warm feet = a must

    - Manuka raw honey (several spoons a day)
    - Elderflower sweets for throat and cold
    - Lots of Vitamin C (at least 2 fresh oranges a day)
    - Honey + lemon + ginger drink
    - Garlic (heals lungs quite quickly), raw or cooked
    - Inhalations (eucalyptus essential oil and such) or simple leaves such as eucalyptus again, thyme etc.
    - Rest, rest, rest...
