Default Letting parents know about illness

Here is a fun way of letting parents know about your illness policy. It is to the point and easy to remember.

'Sung to Mary had a little lamb'

Mary had a little lamb she also had the flu
By coming to the childminders the others caught it too
So if you child is poorly, Please keep them home with you
So the children at our childminders can be happier and healthy too.

I wrote this up on the computer, printed it off and stuck it to bright coloured paper, then laminated it - it has been on my wall for years and every year I redo it so it does not fade. Every parent who comes it sees it on the notice board and smiles - Since having my rhyme up I have never had a parent come in with a poorly child!! It really does work..

Hope this helps everyone else too
    Kindest regards
    Sal

Pretty neat, can we use it?

We just had to send a mindee home, she would not settle. Flu seems to be rife again and another mindee has been off with it, he seems to be getting better so will be coming back soon. Its annoying how bugs keep getting passed around all the time I think im developing the symptons of it now, typical lol.
