Me too Penny - not a clue about when tonight is on

I hope they don't go on about capping cm's fees again - it seems to have been discussed with very little understanding of how different all the services are that we offer!

I don't think I will be able to watch it. I think it might make me too cross right now. I'm completely fed up with the misconception that we are all rolling in money. Tell me someone else (apart from childminders) who would work for £4.87 per hour which is what I spend the vast majority of my week doing right now

Yes and we too are parents caught in the same trap who are working our fingers to the bone to provide quality childcare in order to put food on the table for our families - and at the same time paying out for hefty fuel, food, energy, insurance (X3 - PLI, specialist household & car), admission fees, stationary & huge variety of resources. Our fees are not our wages - our wages are what's left after expenses. Children benefit greatly by our fees.

Sorry Penny, there was just a trailer for it whilst I was fiddling on computer - but I see someone's already posted the answer.

I shall be watching although it will probably make me cross!

That made me laugh - hope the petition gets a mention but I wouldn't bank on it

It was filmed in a day nursery apparently supposedly showing where the costs arise.

Do you think we would get away with £1.00 a minute late fee
