holiday charges?

Hi, Can anyone give me an idea of how much to charge for an after school pick up that would come in the holidays all day and looking after baby from the same family that comes for 4 full days a week? would you charge a full day for the older child? or just a token amount?

I charge £13 for an after school session - 3-6
Then I charge £4.50ph in the holidays.

do you mean just charge a token amount for the full days the older child comes? if so , def. not hon, charge by the hour. charge your full hourly rate for the baby and then I charge a slightly higher hourly rate for the before/after school hours (some charge by the session).

I also charge a set fee for before and after-school sessions (8-9 & 3-6), then I charge my usual hourly rate during school holidays /inset days.

In the hols I charge full fee for both children. If the older one is over 8 then I am more flexible and may reduce the fee by 10% for that child only
