    Default 1 week on two weeks off

    Hi if you had a parent who wanted you mon to fri but only one week in three. Would you charge a retainer for the two weeks you dont care for their child?

    For me it would depend on the age of the child and what hours you required?

    unless she was prepared to pay for all three weeks I would not entertain it, paying a retainer for the two weeks would not be worthwhile in my opinion but if you were happy with it that the go ahead

    i wouldnt do it at all unless full fee's for all weeks were being paid, you are taking up a full time space so are loosing the minder full fee's. its very unlikely they will be able to find someone for the other 3 weeks.
