I don't but if I did it would be time and a half on Saturdays and double time Sundays - weekends are precious!

I do work Saturdays however i just charge my normal rate as the family i am working for will only need every third weekend.

As i have a full time mindee in the week I have had turn down 2 other familys who wanted part time with one of the days being saturday as it would have meant that my little girl would only have her home to herself 1 day a week, and since she is only 2 felt this was slightly unfair.

If i was in a postion were i had a day off in the week i would take a child on a saturday and still chrage the same, as before i became a childminder both me and my partner worked shifts for 10 years which meant that every other saturday one of us would be in work, and neither of us got overtime for being in on the saturday if was just part of our job, hence why i would find it hard to charge a parent more just because they have to work a saturday.

But it is a personal choice.
