10 year old & 6 year old for 4 weeks

Hiya

Just wondering what you would charge, parents what me to have children (siblings) from 7.45 till 3.00pm for 4 weeks during the summer hols?

Would you charge a higher rate as it is short term?

I have said £30 each child per day which includes breakfast, dinner, snacks.

What do you think?

Hi, I think that is a reasonable rate to charge. I personally always charge by the hour at £3.50 per hour, part hours are classed as full hours and I don't supply snacks or meals as I ask parents to do this, so if this was me I would charge from 6am until 3pm which would work out at 7 hours = £24.50 per child so I think with breakfast,dinner and snacks included £30.00 per child is more than reasonable...

I would charge for the hours they need at the rate you normally charge for your under 5's but maybe include £x per day for food also as 6 and 10 year olds will eat a lot more than the under 5's.
