    Default do any of you?

Ask for 4 weeks notice to reduce hours??

Say you have child for 35 hours, and parents want to reduce to 20 hours do you ask for notice?

Yep...that's what the contract says... normally just end up charging the fees in lieu of notice though...they'd expect it if the shoe was on the other foot!

Yes, 4 weeks notice for any changes in contract at all, including starting nursery runs etc. Same for both sides too.

Yes, this happened to me last year and I asked for it in writing and for four weeks notice as in contract. I also then wrote them a letter to agree to new terms and with the start date of new conditions of contract for both our records.
