Mimum fee / hours??

Had an enquiry late last night for a lady who wants some care for her nearly one year old. Very vague when asked several times as to what times etc she was looking for. All I could ascertain is that she wants to do some exercise and have some time for herself.

I've only got one under 5 space at the moment and am reluctant to give it up for only a few hours (in case someone wants full days etc) but on the flip side enquiries are few at the moment.

Should I say I charge a min of say 3 hours and that will at least give me £15??

Hubbie reckons I should take what I can get and if someone else comes along just serve notice but I feel a bit mean doing that?

i think a few here wont take anyone on less than 4 hours a day or if do they still charge for 4 hours(or raise the hourly rate at least) as like you say you rather have a full full time position.

3 hours that will give you least £15 sounds fine with me hun.

Why not give her the option of either paying the minimum of say 3 hours and doing a permanant contract, or do ad-hoc as and when she requires and explain the situation if another mindee were to come along that they would get the place
