    Default Pupil premium

Does anyone receive this and if so what are you allowed to spend it on?

I don't get pupil premium, but I've been told that it has to be spent on resources to benefit the individual child who has the pupil premium.

    Anything here that helps? https://www.gov.uk/early-years-pupil...al-authorities

Pacey magazine had an article on it- Page 22-23, Winter 2014-15 issue:
'the Gov has not attached any hard rules or requirements to EYPP spending, meaning that providers will be free to choose how they support the eligable children in their care. Ofsted will ask about how the money was spent as part of their usual inspections, but details on this have not been released.'
    .

As part of their article they list suggestions of what CMers might spend it on such as equipment, resources, staff support, activities... it does not need to be physical 'things' but instead could be spent on training, or employing an assistant, or anything you think will help that child.

It comes in in April 2015 so I guess the details are not clear to all yet.
