Question How would you charge for this?

Hi all just after some advice. How would you charge for this ?
    2 week rotating shift pattern
    week 1 Monday
    week 2 Monday Thursday Friday
Ive been doing this for two years and only charged the days used so have been losing 2 full days pay a week as unable to fill the Thursday and friday every other week.
Would you just charge to the shift pattern or would you charge for all 3 days every week ?
    Thanks
    Michelle

I've made the mistake of only charging for days used for shift workers. I agreed to this for 2 families when I was newly registered and needed the work.

If I took any more families on a shift rota, I'd now charge a 50% retainer for the days they needed held open, but not used.

It depends on if you want the work - if you can afford to be fussy then push for the 3 day payment for both weeks but if not why not ask for 2 days pay on the 2nd week (1 day plus 50% retianer for days 2 and 3)
