How to charge

I have a previous mindee joining me for part of the summer holidays. He's coming 2 days a week for the last week of july and the first week of August. He will then be coming again for 2 days a week the last week of August and first week of September.

I'm not sure whether I should bill the parents for the whole lot or split it in to 2 halves. I charge in advance so parents will be expecting a bill the first week. It would be lovely to have the whole lot at once as would be very useful for our family holiday spends but am not sure if this is too cheeky! I thought I'd ask all you lovelies what you think! x

If it was me I'd invoice the whole lot in one go. I'd explain that as its only a one off not a regular thing then I need to be certain the space will be used & paid for so I'm not turning other people away unnecessarily.
Saying that though.... If the parents were struggling I would probably agree to do it in 2 instalments

Thanks for advice it was definitely what I was hoping to hear! I hadn't thought about it from the angle of needing to know they would use space for whole time. The parents are well off so its just my own awkwardness about all things financial that was stopping me!

Glad it helped! I get a deposit from all my parents of a months fees. So really that's all you'll be doing as in total it's 4 weeks
