This is fantastic!! Thanks Am I OK to use this being with NCMA?
Strictly speaking, NCMA say they can't support a contract that isn't on their stationery. Mind you, I've had this conversation with them and pointed out that their stationery lacks flexibility when parents want an arrangement that's not the same every week.
I don't expect to have to get NCMA legal department to chase arrears for me cos I don't allow parents to get into arrears. I take payment in advance, in full, on time, every time. No payment = no care, with no exceptions. I include a contract item that I may refuse care immediately in such circumstances. I do this for all contracts, but I'd particularly recommend it for one-offs and ad hoc care, as you know they're not exactly depending on you in future for on-going provision. If they want to use, abuse and run, there is very little to stop them. But parents can only get away with what we allow them to.
