You could ask your Local Authority... but they will only prob tell you if you are already well on your way to accreditation. What about asking your Development Officer to find out for you

It varies area to area so it's no good me telling you what I get per hour per child as it could be totally wrong for you but didn't want to read and run

hi, in our area its 3.56 per hour, but if the child is in a disadvantaged area or has additional needs, english is not their first language you get a few pence more

Worcestershire have now made it easy for anyone to be accredited, no more lenghty assessment process, no more study and evidence of practice just sign up and agree to abide by certain assessment processes/ attend training etc.much less stressful.
Go for it as next year there may be plenty of 2yr olds wanting to access funded sessions with you. There really is no more work than you already do, only thing I find a pain is getting on to the online portal!
And £3.62 is only a bit more than my hourly charge.

I'm in Hampshire and each individual childminder has their own rate set by the authority depending on your highest level childcare qualification, how flexible your setting is regarding drop off and collection times and whether you live in a deprived area.

I really wish ours would do that... Mine is lower than everyones given so far :-(

I also wish there was some way they all paid the same - ours is 70p an hour less than we all charge normally - doesnt sound much but adds up over time and they wont consider putting it up
