    Default starting points/ initial assessment

    Hello,
    l have a fulltime 8 month old starting very soon and really want to get it all right. Does anyone have any advice on starting points and also could someone send me a template of how they document it? thanks all help is much appreciated

    Work closely with parents to find out what the child can do ...

    Comments from parents and children plus your initial observations and assessments are the starting points.

    the disc inside your EYFS pack has some useful templates to print off. you can even customise them too
