    Default PSRN and quiet time

    Hi there,
I'm just linking my daily routine into the EYFS learning goals. I'm stuck on how quiet time can link to PSRN (so far everything links to everything).
    Stuck with this one.
It happens after lunch and usually involves sleeping for the very little ones and TV hour for the ones that don't sleep. They are allowed to play quietly if they want to though.

    Any ideas?

sequencing and time words - 'after' lunch, 'before' school run etc. With the older ones you could introduce the clock to show that it is quiet time.

Do they do jigsaws or puzzles if they don't want to sleep?

no I tend to keep that as an adult lead activity so as not to loose the pieces. I use quiet time to do their notes for the day and any other paper work so they literally are just left to watch TV or play quietly
