Knowing names of colours - where?

What bit of EYFS would it come under being able to recognise a colour?

i know it's not in EYFS critieria but also it would come under PSRN, as they are learning to match (categorise and differentiate).

If you download the Practice Guidance here:

you can then search keywords ie colour/puzzles etc and they will show up everywhere it is mentioned in all ages.

Fantastic tool to use when writing/linking obs.

I search the PDF too - if you type up your obs/next steps/planning - you can also copy & paste the relevant bits from the practise guidance
