    Default ''I can sheets'' for new starters.... please help

    Hello everyone!!

    Can someone please help me with the kind of things i need to put on a ''I can sheet''. It is probably something really simple but want to make it right and informative.
    If anyone as got one they could share that would be great!!

    i dont use one i observe the child over the first couple of weeks with a sticky note pad to hand when i see them do naything i not it down and then i collect them alltogether and write the observations up in date order so i have compiled a couple of days worth and i now where the child is.

    i find this is better than a tick sheet.

    Make a form... 6 areas for the 6 areas of learning and development...

    PSED - I can...

    CLL - I can...

    PSR&N - I can...

    Etc.

    Use the ages and stages information most relevant to the child and refer to the one above and below as the ages cross over.
