Did EYFS training today

I've got my EYFS course next month am going with some fellow childminders from our cm group. I do enjoy going on courses as you meet new people to share experienices with, just like going on my own.

I did mine the last 2 thursday and came away more confused than before. I lot of angry childminders at the end of it as none of our questions werent really answered as the tutors didnt really know the answers or even what they were teaching.

All they seemed to do was give websites like Bromley childminding association out that could help you or give you more answers. Knew these already. Complete waste of time and I lost two evenings with my family.

Thank you for sharing that Dee. Big changes and extra paperwork are daunting but you made it sound achievable and relevent!

I know how you feel it was the same on our course the tutors could not answer half of the questions they just said read through the book and it will become clearer.
