    Default Learning Narratives

Hi all just thought I'd share this with you.

When Studying with the OU I came across the concept of learning narratives where your obs are written up in a 'story'. Its allows scope to document the context of the observation and not just bullet point 'johnny did xxx...'

Does anyone else do this in your learning journeys? I find it adds a bit of life to the childs profile. Any thoughts?

Since learning about it in OU I've done a few to see how they work.

It's an interesting and informative way of writing the observation and definitely gives more meat to the bones of the moment.

It's not do-able every time though, there's too much else to do and I'm not sure who would be interested enough to read them all... but as every so often obs, they do allow you to wax a bit more lyrically than you normally would.
