Default Links to areas of learning

My mindee (16 mmths) has just managed to stack some bricks for the first time (3 high) so I have made an observation and taken a lovely photo.

When linking it to the areas of learning I came to a blank - perhaps it's cos it's Friday and I am starting to switch off.

Can somebody please help, I have got CD - Being Creative, KUW - designing and making. Have also ticked PD - but didn't know whether it would be movement and space or using equipment and materials.

Also, can anybody think of any further planning - have got to use bricks to help identify colours and counting. Try to get mindee to stack bricks even higher.

    Thanks
    Donna

further planning could include stacking other things, ie blocks of different sizes, to improve fine and gross motor skills,
or stacking cups, tupperware boxes, cushions etc.
All this will improve physical skills and go with his interest of putting one thng on top of another.
