SEF - warning!

Just to let you know, I have read in a couple of places this morning about childminders filling in parts of their SEF, going back online to complete some more... and finding all their work has gone!

It doesn't matter who clicked what button or who is at fault... it must be awful to find your hard work gone.

I strongly recommend to my customers that they complete their SEF on their own computer, with spell checker enabled, in their own time... and upload into Ofsted's system when it is ready and when they are not under time pressure to get it done in a rush.

I agree with Sarah - not on this occassion but I have lost loads of work before (through my own error I must say) and it's just so time consuming to re-do. These SEF forms are taking us a long time.

I tried to go on and add some more to mine but Ofsted are experiencing problems with connecting to the Government Gateway - what a surprise.

I still havent recieved my info on this ive no idea what it is or what i have to do..... ive phoned ofsted an they said they would send it this was weeks ago

Thanks Sarah, I havent heard anything from ofsted re the SEF yet but I shall be prepared now when they do tell me...
