Food safety - yoghurt
Dairy manufacturer Yeo Valley has issued a recall notice for several of its yoghurt products which may have become contaminated with rubber. There is a full list of the affected brands/flavours/use-by dates on the Food Standards Agency website https://www.food.gov.uk/news-updates...ghurt-products together with pdfs which include pictures to aid with identification, and instructions on returning product to shops.
Important. Do not assume you have none of the affected product just because nothing in your fridge has "Yeo Valley" on the label. The company makes products under a range of different brand names (e.g. "The Collective Dairy" amongst others) and many of the affected products are supermarket 'own-brand' lines.
Please check your fridges and make a note in your log (Safer Food, Better Business for Childminders) that you've checked, even if you find none - EHO inspectors like to see this kind of thing.
(Not entirely sure where to post this, so the moderators may help with the category, but hopefully where it can be seen by as many members as possible.)
