Default Books about how people are different?

    Hi there!
Can anyone recommend any children's books that show diversity of culture and appearance etc.

I have 'All kinds of people' and 'All Kinds of Religion' but they're are a bit complex for early years in my opinion and my lot just arent interested in them.
Can any of you recommend some others?

I like 'Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes' by Mem Fox, illustrations by Helen Oxenbury.

It has everything re. Diversity, yet it's a terrific book as well.

The simplest and most accessible I know of is:

(Todd Parr) It's Okay to be Different Little, Brown & Co.

    Also good for EY is:

(Mary Hoffman & Ros Asquith) The Great Big Book of Families Frances Lincoln

Do you have any specific areas/issues of diversity in mind, or just diversity in general?

Oh all my children love this book, it makes them laugh. I think for young children it's brilliant.

I have the oxfam books 'playtime' 'homes' etc.
Great for showing different children around the world. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/1845...playtime+oxfam

Also the Dorling Kindersley books ... children just like me and celebrations. Although the ones I have look a little dated. There might be a new version.

    Brilliant!
    Thank you so much everyone!
Yes it's just diversity in general really.
Got loads to work with now and all I put into amazon came up with other related topics so I'm spoiled for choice now lol.
    Thanks guys
