I am looking at sending my son to Kit McGrath for help with his writing...Has anyone any experience?

Sorry I've not heard of that one! My friend's son went to Kumon for maths and it really helped.

Not sure if you found any more info on Kip McGrath but my daughter attends a class, I rate it very highly, she attends for maths and has moved up a set in school. The lesson is quite intensive and is run by qualified teachers. It is a franchise business so there are a few around now. Lessons are around £25 for a 90 min lesson. Def worth it for your child's confidence.

I did take my son for an assessment for his writing so covers all over English, His reading level is high as is his spelling, his writing is not at level 1 despite been in year 2...

He has had 2 sessions now and is really loving it ..He esp likes sweetie break and computer games but feels like it is a treat to go...Too early really to see if it will make a difference but parents evening end of this month so will see what teachers say then..i have not made a secret of him going
