how long do you keep your planning documentation for? IE I've still got planning from when I started in 2008! Do I need to keep that, or do you just keep a couple of years/things you will cover again etc?

    Thank you!

I improve mine year after year - I keep group planning for about 3 years because I do refer back to it - plus i do different themes each year and might not do the same ones for a couple of years to keep things fresh for children who are with us for a while.

a lot of my medium term planning - the themed activities - has been in my file for years! It's still relevant
