Default Quick qu - did the Every Child Matters doc get updated with new EYFS?

Is it still the same or has it been updated with the new EYFS?

ECM is a government agenda which Eyfs piggybacked, using the ECM outcomes as part of the original themes of the Eyfs and integrated them into the SEF.

The new coalition govt has not really followed up on the ECM agenda and it has been sidelined. The dedicated website disappeared and now it is no longer referred to in the Eyfs.

While it is still officially govt policy and an excellent way of evaluating yourself to ensure you are meeting children's needs it is no longer part of Eyfs.
