    Default 2hrs a week

A friend at toddlers has asked me to look after her baby for 2hrs a week while she takes her middle child to the baths.

I have vacancies for that time as I only work with part time children now.

I will do as much of the etfs with the child but wondered if it is worth giving mum all my policies

how much paper work would others do?

i would count it as babysitting not minding 2h a week.
    but that's just me.

i wouldn't keep a space for it. i would make sure mum understand that it's just as long as you have the space.

i wouldn't do any papaerwork as in my opinion it's babysitting.

i hope someone has a better advice

I have a lo 2 hours a day, twice a week. I gave mum a disc with my policies on & got her to fill in all the normal paperwork.

I take photos while he is here & send mum an email each evening telling her what he's been up to. I tell her what he's done, what I'll do the following week & give her ideas for what she could do with him at home. She emails me during the week telling me what he's been doing at home. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes to email and I'm sure I'm covering all the EYFS. I don't do a LJ, but if needed I could print off the emails & photos showing development.
