Default Working with other settings advice please

The little girl starting with me soon will also be attending another childminder one day a week.
I'm not sure how I can approach this, I won't be dropping off or collecting her from the setting like I might have from a nursery or pre-school.
How can I approach the other childminder & communicate with them as I won't see them to talk to/hand over newsletters etc?

Do you know the other childminder? If you do then you could ask her round for a coffee, that Might be a nice thing to do anyway as you're both looking after the child and might make it easier for the child to settle with you if she comes with her present childminder.

ask mum to pass on a letter to the other childminder introducing yourself and asking how she sees you working together? maybe you could share the same daily diary ( both childminders and mum ), maybe you could email each other every so often?

    good luck xxx

Meet over coffee (and cake). Make sure you have parental consent for information sharing. See it as an opportunity, and you could well be on the way to working closely with the other CM: providing mutual emergency/holiday cover, and so on.
