    Default When to expect inspection

I was registered with CSSIW in August last year (previously registered with Ofsted) and told that I'd have my next inspection withing 6 months. I haven't heard a thing from CSSIW so was wondering whether to get in touch with them or just wait until I get the call!

When I was registered with Ofsted they came exactly 6 months after I registered.

Also, am I right in thinking they'll send me a self-evaluation form before they come out or have I imagined that?!

    HI

The CSSIW will do a first inspection within 1 year of registrtion. Mine was almost exactly one year after my pre-reg inspection. You will be sent the new SAF, an inspection form and forms to give to your parents. You have 28 days to return your forms and then will be inspected sometime over the next 3 months. You will get no phone call prior to inspection like OFSTED they will just appear!

    Good luck

I was also OFSTED reg before CSSIW reg
