Help with SAF and policies please

Hi, I am filling in my SAF and am nearly done, but I am ticking off the policies bit and I don't have a special needs one or the one titled operational procedures for safe conduct on outings. On the form it has NMS then a number next to it, any idea what the NMS stands for ? I presume I just do them now ? Thanks !

A special needs policy should be in place from the start... have you called yours something different? Have you got an equality of opportunity or disability one you can adapt?

Safe conduct on outings should come out of your outings risk assessments... if you need any help with wording drop me a pm.

NMS means 'national minimum standards' which is your guidance document.

I've got Sarah's e-book for Wales, and its worth every penny, along with the risk assessment book !!!!!!

If Mr Inspector doesnt pour over them and jump up and down with joy after he's read all my fabulous new policies and risk assessments that I've spent weeks working on, I think I shall have to ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm hit him !!!!!!!!

Inspection not till the end of the year, but I wish it was sooner !!!!!!!!!!
