Default 10 month and almost a year

    Hi,
I am after some inspiration. I have just signed my first parent to mind her daughter two days a week. I am really excited.
She will be a year old when I mind her. I have her next week and my son for two hours "settling in".
Can you suggest any activities or ideas I can do with them? I feel daft for asking. Many of the indoor play with my son is with his toys. But I really would like to do a Planned activity that I can show the mum when she returns and what a great time we have had. I'm thinking along the lines of some kind of messy play or craft type activity. The more I have tried to think of something the more my mind draws a blank..
    Thank you in advance.
    Michelle

I am planning to do Jelly with my children. Different coloured moulds of it, with various implements, pots etc .. maybe set something inside the jelly.

thank you, think thats the route I'm going to go down some kind of messy play. don't think her mum lets her get messy at home so think it will be good for her.

the hand painting sounds good, and she can take it away with her.

    Cheers all...
