Dance activities

Is anyone know of any cd's or DVDs that have actions and are good and easy for me to learn as well as the children lol.

Not sure what type of dance you are thinking about but my unplanned winner this week was putting on the Royal Ballet's nutcracker Suitein response to a little one announcing that boys can't do ballet. They have been in awe of the beauty of the performance and just copied moves...inspiring them to put their legs up, balance, do little steps, big leaps, tip toes, twirls..it's been brilliant.

Look on youtube for zumba for children routines - we do a dough gym routine to "Wacka wacka - Africa".

Or listen to different types of music and think of different ways to move - there is a Cbeebies programme called "melody" that takes a classical piece of music and images it's about eg: dinosaurs moving slowly

I think it's better to find a cute and funny music and think out your our movements. Maybe kids will help you. I think they'll love it.
