    Default Here is an idea

Hi, An idea for 3 years plus me thinks.
Take some string, take some paint (thickish not to watery) and some white card. Hold the string at one end, and paint the rest of the string as much as possible. works well with bright colours. string needs to be longish. then take your white card, place the painted string on the card and make a fiqure of eight (try not to smudge) then take your second bit of card place on top. pull the string carefully but firmly from one corner (someone else could do this for you)

you should end up with a tulip shape, or at least a nice pattern! then i stick the pattened card on some folded card to make an actual card to send to people! mothers day, fathers day etc...

very fun. would send a pic of one i made earlier, but new to this site, new to childminding!

I'll have to have a go at that - we made tulips last mothers day with a photo of the child under the petals, be nice to do something different.

    Miffy xx
    Keep smiling!
