Where do people find the best places to get children' craft materials such as glitter/glue/paints from, I've looked around and I'm not sure if its better to buy in bulk from early years suppliers or stick with supermarket/shop suppliers. With Autumn and Christmas fast approaching I'm going to need a fair bit. Any hidden gems or good advice out there?

Couldn't agree more, plus they have quick delivery too. You may find though that you spend more than you intended to, I know I do. Hx

we love crafty crocodiles ( i also love that things come packaged in those ziplock style bags ( easily pleased me! ) i have a HUGE order ot put through ... although mindees have written it, so need to check - it probably has a zillion stickers on it, plus lots of beads and random kits! we are however, about to try out their decoupage stuff! ( heres hoping it takes them more than 2 minutes to do!!! )

i also get stuff from wilkies ( although their paint is quite runny ), the works, tesco, asda and anywhere i see bits & bobs!

Crafty Crocodile is really good. Poundland are good too, and Homebargains.

I also buy gifty wrapping paper and get the children to cut shapes, characters whatever is on the paper.

As well as all the above try baker ross on line - they have a bargain section and Wilkinsons and the Works on the High Street.

    Another vote for crafty crocodiles.

Like everyone else, I keep an eye out when I am out and about, picked up things from all the chains mentioned and keep an eye out for stuff when its reduced. I dont need to buy much for xmas crafts and bought loads in January

It all sounds very good!!! With new EYFS you have to watch out for the (age and suppose quality) of the crafts materials.
