Thats what I keep trying to tell myself, i've got childminding friends who when i was registering asked If i would be available for holidasy cover, theyve now been on holiday and I was never used as cover, these were same people who told me to put my application in.

Slightly off putting that they think im good enough to be a childminder but not good enough to look after there mindees

Dont have a website, spend to much time on ehre and facebook to make one besides im not very good wehn it comes to designing webites.

Have pelnty of pics of me on facebook, most of which are a few years old tho and im hammered in 75% of them

It's not that hard to build..I found pics the hardest thing I basically just copied and pasted from my portfolio...same thing...be brave and then when its done get some cards from vista print..250 usually free but about£3.50 postage..even though says about 21days usually turn up after a week. mine did anyway. If you have any problems let me know..happy to advise but no expert..its free adverting put iot that way..any way of getting mindees. I think we should have a party when we finally get children

whatever you are happy with just be careful some templates charge you if you go premium.

I just used 'MINIMAL' and then added my own logo which I designed off Vista for a small fee..I then changed the background to a catchy colour and then just added bits and altered bits here and there until I was happy. Then asked family members to check it out for me but obviously don't know all about childminding so went brave and displayed on here..just make sure you include links to this forum...I forgot.but then went on to add ofsted. every child matters etc..
If you get stuck I will try and help. Took me awhile to make sure I got it right.
Still not 100% about it but everyone seems to think its good so who am I to judge

My biggest problem is staying of here and facebook, I do 5 mins on the website then 20 mins on here and facebook lol

LOL. I spent 2 days just on the LOGO for Network Nannies (my first site).

Any time i get now between working/being a dad/being a husband i spend checking stats, approving ads and optimising for search engines on childminderfinder.

One thing for sure, it is rewarding when you build your own site. If you need any tips let me know.

yeah didnt mean i expected the whople thing to be done, not done half a page yet, the 2 hours was just deciding the colours and design of my homepage.

A few weeks actually.....checked out other websites to get an idea of what to put on it plus help from here too....
