One mistake some people make when calculating their food estimate is to include the cost of cooking it, e.g. gas and/or electric. This should NOT be included as you already claim a proportion of your fuel bills separately as an expense.

I put through £3 a day, for Breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks! I know mine doesn't cover most of the time, but working out per meal
I don't charge parents though!
