Hertfordshire dont.
Here in Lincolnshire we got a choice of 2 packages, one was computor stuff, the other garden items. These again were only available to the first 50 i think it was who applied. The items were as follows for the garden package: a illusion mirror, a blackboard, guttering play system, junoir picnic table, wheelbarrow and twig wham. We've only recieved part of the package so far we are still waiting for the twig wham and a parasol to go on picnic table. Not sure what was in the computor package but was advised by dev worker that we wouldnt get it.
In North Humberside we recently received £200 worth of ICT recources and £500 worth of general recources.

In Hampshire we could put in bids for money to enhance outdoor provision or ICT. We competed faily against all other childcare providers, but I think it was only accredited CM but I could be wrong.
We have had to justify what we spent it on, and fill in a form proving how it had improved the outcomes for the children in our setting.
If we do not continue to Cm for 5 years, they have a clawback clause so we have to give some of the money back.
In Birmingham (West Midlands) we can apply for the grant between £2500 and £5000 and have to submit the application as soon as possible as the money runs out at the end of the financial year. It has to include a laptop and printer and outdoor resources.
I attended a briefing session with my local Childcare Development Worker last week and she has already rang me to see how I am getting on with my application!
I still can't believe that I will get this funding but I will submit it and see what happens.

I'm in Kent and we have just been given a £250 grant but it is the first Grant I have recieved in 4 years.

Worcestershire has had 2 rounds of capital funding.
All childcare settings could apply. There were different levels to go for starting at £2,500. I have seen some press about nurseries getting large amounts. One even got money to purchace land to improve the outdoor space!
I recieved the £2,500 and have got some fantastic stuff. Most childminders who applied received this ammount.
There is a third round but now only open to those who haven't had any yet. Shame as I was planning to update my outdoors this time !

we recieved 2200 to enhance our settings in lancashire......had to be acreddited for network for that amount other CM recieved hlf of that 1100 i was very gratefull think it should be given to all childminders!!!!
I'm also in Lincolnshire and there was another option of upto £1500 for a Quality Improvement grant. Not many people applied as they thought the application form looked daunting and you had to open a business bank account. Because of this if you did apply I think you were almost guaranteed to get it. I chose various items including laptop, printer, camera, patio awning, toy kitchen, outdoor play equipment, large sandpit and got the lot. I'm so chuffed and have already spent most of the money.
we've been very lucky in Kirklees west yorkshire as we've been able to apply between £2,500 and £10,000. On top of the grant every childcare provision in kirklees also recieved a free laptop, printer, keyboard and internet connection.
I was told by my council that ICT equipment is not capital grants, I took it to the head of EY and she offered all network childminders (not accredited) in our county £300 to enhance the outdoor setting as this is what the money was given to the councils for.

West lancashire have been promised resources of £1000 but we can't choose what we will get. Saying that, equipment was meant to be given in march and not heard any more recently!!
I'm in Leeds and we get nothing! Don't even get our first aid subsidised
I rang EY and asked why we could not get anything and she said that they were not offering it to childminders because if you ever move house or give up minding you have to pay it all back

Nothing in Bolton, plenty of training but no grants to help you put it into practice.
