Mine was £35.76 and that was for class 4 national insurance because I'd earnt just over the threshold!

I'm jealous lol I do object to giving my cash away in this manner, far better when I was employed as you don't notice it or I didn't wanyway. Might investigate monthly advance direct debits for the future
So you need to go out and buy a lovely wooden house for the garden for around £700. Why pay it to the tax man
we dont stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing
I cannot possibly fit any more equipment in Wendy! Too late anyhow, this was the one due in this January, will get on top of the current years right away after this one, I knid of let it creep up on me a little
I agree with Wendy go and buy something with that £700.00 I totally would.

but buying something fo 700 wont make your payable tax 0.00...it will just reduce it by a little bit....
i dont mind paying tax to be honest...of course it is different when you are self employed but if nobody would pay tax we would be in a right state....who would pay for all the services we take for granted??

Yipee, absolutely zilch! Earnt a reasonable ammount but spent a fortune on resourses!

£324 for me including class 4 national insurance, too late for any more deductions so will be more careful next year and remember to deduct every last slice of bread!
mine was £900 and something But I have had a very good year, tbh I don't mind as it only worked out at £70 per month (I have been putting away £100) so overall it it worth it!! Hubby pays over £400 per MONTH
£350.00 - not too bad.

Excuse my ignorance here But if Pudding girl's tax bill is £700 and she bought a gate for £700, surely that means that her tax bill would be zero? Aren't resources 100% tax deductable?
No it's only the 20% that you'd take off, you'd need to spend what is it over £3k to reduce the £700 to nothing.
Rubybubbles, it's just it coming off in a lump sum I hate it, have foudn the relevant bits on HMRC website to arrange a Direct Debit for future use so once I've submitted this I will arrange that.
far too much -
Debbie
£ 0.00
(only cos I made a huge loss ).
I am a bit border line for this year though, so might have a spending spree in March to offset any tax payable.
£0.00 but not sure about next year as I have been busier
