I have received my assessment for payment so if you think you need to pay something you should get an advice through the post any day. If not, lucky you!

I did my tax return online on Sunday and unfortunately I have a big tax bill to pay. I put money aside each month so I do have it in the Building Society I just don't like parting with it to give to the tax man!!

I have a big one too and it will take the next two months wages but rather in my bank than the tax mans so I will pay mine on 31st Jan.

Got mine through and money on one side for it but i won't be paying it untill the last possible minute - i hate giving money to the tax man - want to get as much interest as i can before it goes
I'm not paranoid - the world IS out to get me!

I've been paying mine monthly by direct debit since May when I did my return, so only have £33 left to pay

I didn't know you could do that. Do you have to be super organised and do your tax return soon after the tax year has finished?

I put away 20% in an isa each month and then split the balance between May and December and pay by standing order to them

To get the details go to their website and there are two offices depending on where you live
