    Hi

Sorry I cannot help with the key meter but all the other stuff that you bought before you started minding add together and put down as start-up costs - that's what the tax man told me to do. sure someone else will come along soon with to help with the meter

You need to be able to show a tax man (if you are questioned) that you pay the bills.

Now with something like gas and electricity, you can show you pay because you have to or you'd freeze / not be able to cook etc.

So long as you put down what you pay then take the percentage as advised here you're fine!

Follow tulip's advice for the things you bought before minding started
