    Default Tax docs

    Hiya,

I have started to notice the tax deadline ads on telly, but havent had any papers through yet. I usually do it online, but get the papers anyway - has everyone else had their papers through?

I usually get my tax return at the end of the current tax year so not 'til April for 07/08 tax year

Don't the ads refer to 06/07 tax year?

Well thats what I was confused about! i was sat there saying to Mr S - why do we have to do tax returns?? The tax year hasnt ended! Oh...too confusing!

I have done my taxes up to April 2007 - does this mean I can rest easy till April 2008?

I had this problem a couple of years ago and only realised I hadn't had a formwhen I received the fine of £100.

I phoned them up of course and they sent me a new one out. Their excuse was they sent the form to my old address - funny how the fine came to my new address, eh.

Get in touch with them but if you haven't been minding long they may just include it in next years, they did that to my friend

yes the adverts refer to 2006/2007 if you're up to date then don't worry you've got a couple of months before you start again

    No their mistake.

As I hadn't earned enough anyway to pay tax the fine didn't stand
