    Default tax and national insurance

    do i put 20% of everything i earn to cover both, NI and tax ? or more? I really am gonna struggle with getting paper work sorted!. I dont have a clue what i can claim regards water elec, gas etc.... do you find this out on icp?

    Yes you should get an information pack at your ICP...

    20% is a good amount to put away for tax - but you can earn £6k first
