    Default Employed and self employed

Hello. I've just recently signed up for a job to help supplement my childminding whilst things are quiet. Does anyone know what happens with tax if I'm employed and self employed at the same time? Do I declare my employed income with my tax return or will they emergency tax me and then refund once I've submitted my 13/14 accounts?
    Thanks.

Tax being paid now via employment would, I'd have thought, come under the current tax year 14/15.
When you file this years accounts after April (14/15), any overpayment of tax due to employment would be refunded then, not against last years return (13/14)

Your employer will give you a P60 showing earnings and tax paid and these will need declaring on your tax return

There's usually a question on the self assessment tax return that asks if there's any other income.
