Hi
First year of minding and submitted tax return.had sheet back from hmrc saying no tax to pay- is tbis the form that mortgage companies need to see.or a different one. So confused. Any mortgage help appreciayed. Tia

Sorry I don't know the answer to this as I have never asked for one but I do remember a post on here this year where some one said that they asked he HMRC for a statement of earnings so maybe ring them up and they will advise

I had to phone the HMRC and they sent out a statement for each year to me.

Yes I did the same. They said you can print it from the website but mortgage companies usually want something from HMRC.

I am in the process of applying for a mortgage and have been asked to show the last 3 years forms SA302. It's the one where HMRC calculate the tax you owe, if any, and also class 4 contributions payable.HTH

Does anyone know what happens if you've only been minding a year when you need to remortgage? I'll obviously not have 3 years worth, but was employed before minding and overall money available to spend at the end of each month is much greater now I'm minding due to not paying out for childcare for my son, although on paper it looks like I'm earning less...
We're due to remortgage next year and it plays on my mind constantly!
