Default buying back my pushchair, how much can i claim?

    Hello All
I bought a new pushchair when my son was born, it cost me £250.00, it was a very very nice pram he has now outgrown it but I am using it for my minded children, does anybody know how much I could "buy it back" for? It is now only used for childminding.
    many thanks

I would look up similar make, age, condition prams on ebay or in trade it adverts to see what I could get for it if I sold it - print off an advert or a final bid price on ebay and claim that amount. In theory your OH could advertise and sell your pram and you buy it back again - thats how I look at it - I'm sure Mr A will be along soon.

Yes, Hector's House's way is fine. If you can't/don't want to find a comparable item on eBay you can use a different way: estimate the life of the pram in use, say 6 years, and the time you used it for your son, say 2 years. You have therefore used 2/6 of the cost of the pram for private use and can transfer it into business use at 4/6 of the cost.
