I'm thinking ahead here for April , it will be my first tax bill :/ will I have to pay it in one lump sum or will I be able to spread the Payment ? Thank you in advance xx

I generally pay mine in January and July when the tax man sends his bills. I usually have a good idea how much I will need to pay so can put money aside each month.

You won't have to pay anything until January 2014, and if you do your tax return as soon as you can you will know exactly how much you have to pay.

Thank you, is it just a case of working out how much I need to pay and saving or could I set up a direct debit with them ?

It really would be easier to pay an amount each month throughout year, is this possible? Surely it would just go on your account
