How long do you keep your food receipts for? Do u throw them away once 2 weeks has passed as we only need to keep them to prove where food was brought from incase of food related illnesses??
    Thanks

Do you freeze anything, or buy tinned/dried/UHT etc. food for the cupboard?

You need to keep them for 3 months for Environmental Health Purposes and for 7yrs for HMRC if the items go through your books as an expense.

You should ask your local environmental health how long they recommend because it does vary depending on where you live.

My environmental health advised me to keep them for 6 months but I know others who say less time.
